板敷鼻（いたじきばな）
Itajikibana consists of a flat section like paving stones of about 10 tatami mats in size and a series of large rocks that appear to be standing vertically. The sun setting over the East China Sea is beautiful here. You can also see the Osumi Peninsula, Mt. Kaimon, Iwo Jima, Takeshima and Yakushima when the weather is nice. The rocks are rugged, but, the sea is beautiful and clear. You can even see the coral reef. This means it looks different to a beach. It has also become a noted fishing spot. It is a place where you can aim to catch parrotfish, black porgy and other large fish.
