たねがしまマングローブパーク
It is said that Tanegashima serves as the northern limit for the natural habitat of Kandelia obovata. The mangroves of Oura River in Minamitane and Minato River in Nishinoomote were selected to be one of the 500 most important wetlands in Japan by the Ministry of the Environment as the Mangrove Forest of Tanegashima. You can take a stroll through the mangroves walking along the boardwalk. There is also a sea kayak boarding point here.
