浦田海水浴場（うらだかいすいよくじょう）
Urada Beach on the north side of Tanegashima has a white sandy beach and blue sea that are very beautiful and incredibly clear. It has even been selected as one of the top 88 beaches to go swimming in Japan. It forms a cove, so it is very quiet and full of greenery in the surroundings. There are various ways to have fun at this beach. You can enjoy fishing, scuba diving, camping and more in addition to swimming in the sea. The Seaside House in the Administrative Building offers showers, restrooms, an observation deck and a break room. You can spend a comfortable time here.
